Trellis Spa at The Houstonian

Project:

Trellis Spa at The Houstonian

Role:

Construction Manager at Risk

Scope:

Renovation of the wood-framed Trellis building included a new roof, updated interior finishes, stained grade millwork, exterior painting, and wet area upgrades. Air handling units were replaced, water features refinished, and treatment rooms completely redone with custom millwork and lighting. The Outdoor Water Experience added two new pools, wood decking, arbors, and a guest restroom. The second-floor patio was enclosed to create indoor dining and event space, while the exterior expansion introduced cabanas and a multi-purpose artificial lawn.

Architect:

Impact:

At 26,500 square feet, Trellis Spa is now the largest luxury spa in the state of Texas. From the outside, it resembles a magnificent European Villa with statuesque architecture and luscious gardens. On the inside, soothing, nature-inspired hues complement a grand, light-filled reception and hallway, leading to all-new redesigned, sophisticated interiors where guests may enjoy hours of undisturbed relaxation.
