Small Steps Nurturing Center

Project:

Small Steps Nurturing Center

Role:

Construction Manager at Risk

Scope:

This expansion of Small Steps Nurturing Center reflects a meaningful investment in the future of Houston’s children. Designed to serve more economically at-risk students, the project increased the center’s capacity by creating space for 50 additional children—allowing Small Steps to extend its mission of early childhood education and support to even more families. The thoughtfully executed addition expanded both the east and west sides of the existing facility, seamlessly integrating 20,000 square feet of new classrooms, administrative offices, and support spaces including a new bathroom and laundry room.

Architect:

LDD Blueline

Impact:

Small Steps Nurturing Center’s program provides high-quality education, social and emotional support, a nurturing Christian environment to economically at-risk children ages two through six living in poverty. Their mission is to provide an exemplary program to at-risk children throughout the Houston area.
