Scope:
The development of Stages Repertory Theatre’s new facility at The Gordy included a five-story parking garage, renovation of an existing metal building, and a new 10,000 square foot addition. The Gordy houses three intimate performance spaces, a new Warehouse Stage, and a 227-seat Arena stage in addition to the community spaces, such as shared work areas, studios and an office suite.

Impact:
Stages Repertory Theatre, a nonprofit arts organization, began in the Houston theater scene in 1978. The Gordy represents a new era for Stages and will showcase dynamic and immersive performances for the Houston theater an arts community. The results will be a space completely unique in our city and serve as a hub for up-and-coming talent within the community.
