Scope:
This project involved the renovation of 134,000 square feet to support the relocation of orthopedic services from the Houston facility to Shriners’ Galveston campus. The scope included the transquare footormation of existing spaces such as operating rooms, patient rooms, the main lobby, and a variety of ancillary support areas. New construction elements were added to accommodate pre- and post-operative care, clinical services, and advanced imaging centers. All areas received upgraded mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems. High-end custom finishes and fixtures were integrated throughout, creating a state-of-the-art, welcoming environment for children and their families.
