Project:
Bridgestone MUD Park
Role:
General Contractor
Scope:
The 14-acre park development for Bridgestone MUD transformed a low-lying, forested site into a vibrant community destination featuring a 5-acre retention pond, expansive parking, and two multipurpose buildings with restrooms, storage, and covered seating. The park includes a 150-foot pedestrian bridge connecting miles of illuminated sidewalks, a custom playground, splash pad, and two dog parks, all designed to promote recreation and community engagement. The project also prioritized sustainable landscaping with full irrigation and the strategic relocation of native trees, including three exceptional specimens arbor-lifted and preserved on-site.
Architect:
Four and One Landscape Architecture
Impact:
The park features multiple children’s play areas for a variety of age ranges, a pavilion and native plants. Bridgestone MUD’s park is also home to interactive play areas designed for children with special needs and water conservation features, such as rain gardens and recycled-water amenities.
