Scope:

This was a historical renovation and expansion of the Annunciation Cathedral, built in the early 1950s. The project includes doubling the size of the existing cathedral with the addition of a new forty-six foot dome, expanded balcony and an all new stone façade. The iconography and stained glass windows are impressive and one-of-a-kind.

Impact:

Since 1917, this church has provided ministry, educational and recreational programs for Houston’s Greek Orthodox community. The historical renovation preserves their rich history, but also expands the facility to accommodate a steadily-growing congregation.
