The Urban Landscape Institute’s “Development of Distinction” Awards for 2018 were announced, and the SEARCH Foshee Family House of Tiny Treasures was the Not-For-Profit Category winner! This project, which wrapped up construction in September of 2016, is located in Houston’s Third Ward and provides developmentally-focused care for preschool children while their parents, most of whom reside in shelters or other housing programs, attend classes and enter the workforce. Upon award, the Houston Business Journal noted that “The jury panel was inspired by the multi-dimension and ‘passion’ of the Tiny Treasures and further commented on the ‘welcoming’ and ‘inspiring’ spaces within the development.”

The Forney team is so excited to share this incredible honor, and look forward to the amazing continuing Impact: that The House of Tiny Treasures provides to our community.
