Forney joined Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, SER Executive Director Nory Angel, and other community members at the SER-Jobs for Progress Workforce Opportunity Center, Forney’s active job site. Construction of the center is underway and will double SER’s capacity to provide client services, education, and training. Forney is proud to be part of this important community project and of the Impact: it will have on our city.  Mayor Turner said of the effort:  “This is not just a building, it is a place where dreams will be realized, hard work will be recognized, and the whole city of Houston will benefit.”
